Summer Camps at World Upside Down
At World Upside Down, students dive into the creative arts each week through music, dance, theater, and visual art. Campers learn a theme-based song and dance, craft vibrant art projects, and bring stories to life through theater. They also engage in fun games and competitions inside the studio and at the park. The week culminates in a lively showcase where they share their talents with family and friends.

Are there still spots available?
All nine weeks of camp are currently open. Register today, as weeks will fill quickly! This page will be updated to reflect any closures.
Which grade should I use to register my child?
Register your child based on the grade they will be in for the upcoming school year.
What is unique for K4 students?
K4 students are eligible for part-time camps with a 1:00pm pickup. On Fridays, they can stay until 3:00pm to participate in the showcase.
How are students divided for classes?
We group students for classes and activities based on grade and the total number of students attending the camp. Typical groupings are K4-3rd grade and 4th-8th grade.
What do I need to know about Friday showcases?
The highlight of our week is the Friday showcase at 3:00pm, where students proudly present their amazing work. Please do not arrive for the showcase before 2:30pm. We encourage students to bring costumes from home for the show, but should come Friday morning in regular camp wear. They will have plenty of time to change before the show!
What are your student safety measures?
- Every team member is background-checked.
- All of our teaching artists have prior teaching experience.
- The ratio of children to staff changes weekly because some camp themes are more popular than others. It also varies with the ages of students. We always meet the legal requirement of 1:23 teacher/student ratio, and often have student volunteers for extra support.
- We use the Procare childcare app for all of our students. It is an app that allows parents to sign their students in and out using a personal code. When a parent arrives for pickup, they must sign their student out using the code before their child is brought to the front desk.
Do you need volunteers?
High school students can join our volunteer team and assist teaching artists. This is a great opportunity for them to build their resume, gain volunteer service hours, and explore work opportunities in arts education. They must apply before April 1, complete the application process, and participate in mandatory training. Apply here.
Do you accept students on the spectrum?
We partner with World Upside Down Arts Studio to offer ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy sessions with Registered Behavioral Technicians, incorporating arts integration to create a supportive and engaging environment. We understand that each child is unique. Check out the FAQ section on their website to confirm insurance companies and private pay options.
