You know that when you teach the arts, you change the world.
You're an elementary music teacher or a middle school theater teacher. You walk into class with high hopes. Then you realize you have no curriculum and no budget. Or you're a classroom teacher. You believe that music or theater should be a core subject, but there is no music or theater teacher in your school. You know that if you don't step up, no one will. But you don't know what to do...

Some teachers travel a straight path. Mine is a windy one. Our journeys may vary, but I think we have something in common. I think we agree that when we teach music, we change the world. And we're not the only ones. So I'm building a community for teachers on a mission to change the world for good. In fact, we're creating the #WorldUpsideDown teacher movement. Would you like to join?

PBS Kids Celebrity SteveSongs Creates Elementary Music Teacher Resources
Steve Roslonek aka PBS Kids celebrity SteveSongs has been writing and performing his award-winning music for kids and families for the past twenty years. But you have to see Steve in action to feel the magic. He blends participatory songs, clever stories, and great melodies to create what the Boston Globe called “not just a musical journey but an entertaining, interactive and educational one.”
In May 2008, Steve took on the exciting new role of “Mr. Steve,” co-host of the PBS KIDS preschool destination that features the popular shows Curious George, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Super Why, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That and Peg + Cat. In 2020, Steve partnered with World Upside Down to help elementary teachers integrate music into the classroom! So sign up for your free membership to get some of his magical resources!
