World Upside Down is your home for family-friendly theater and community events in Greenville and Simpsonville, South Carolina. Each season begins with our signature Meet the Cast event, a lively prelude to the shows that offers interactive, behind-the-scenes experiences and a first look at our performers. Join us for a hilarious, heartwarming adventure as our students bring the beloved story of Shrek to life on stage! When Shrek’s quiet swamp is suddenly overrun by fairy-tale misfits, he sets off on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona and win back his home. Along the way, he discovers that friendship, bravery, and self-acceptance can turn any fairytale upside down.

Our Shrek Jr. cast features our middle and high school performers in the full junior production, while Shrek Kids showcases our younger performers in a fun, shortened version of the show—both packed with big laughs, lovable characters, and unforgettable music the whole family will enjoy.
