Course Description

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Play curriculum is ideal for Grades 6-8.

The curriculum gives teachers a clear path for acting instruction and play production. The interactive videos show students how to establish a strong warm up routine, create a strong character through voice and body, prepare for an audition, script analysis, character development, memorization techniques, stage areas, and blocking. It also provides tips for set & prop design, lighting, costumes & makeup.

The resource kit provides all of the tools necessary for both online and in-class instruction with lesson plans which align with national standards and a variety of learning activities.

Nearpod Lessons can be used for online delivery or flipped classroom instruction. Nearpod activities include quizzes, fill-in-the-blanks, role play with open-ended questions, collaboration boards, FlipGrid for video submissions, and matching pairs. All of the Nearpod Activities provide both formative and summative assessments and are editable so that teachers can customize them as needed.
