If you say,

“Who’s SteveSongs?”

I say,

“Curious George, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and Super Why.”

News flash:

SteveSongs has partnered with World Upside Down to bring some of his musical magical into your classroom. Watch the video to learn more.

We’re creating elementary music teaching resources.

We’re just starting, so we don’t have a whole year’s worth of curriculum for you YET, but we’re working on it. We just released our first unit entitled Brush, Brush, Brush, and we’re testing it with elementary and elementary music teachers across the country. Here’s a clip of one of the videos included in the kit.

SteveSongs: Brush, Brush, Brush

Join our focus group to test out the resources.

So we’ve got a lot of curriculum to build, but guess what…YOU CAN HELP! You can join a focus group to test out a unit and give us strong feedback so we can continue to improve as we go. Here’s the commitment:

  • Four weekly virtual calls with your teacher focus group
  • Test the resources we give you
  • Give us feedback

If you’re ready to get started, fill out the application today: Elementary music focus group

Benefits to joining a focus group

  • You get to connect with an innovative group of teachers from across the country and around the globe.
  • You get to be on the cutting-edge of new curriculum development–try something new!
  • You can get compensated.

**If you’re a public school teacher in the United States, we can even compensate you for your participation through DonorsChoose (and don’t worry—we’ll help you subject your project, easy peasy).**

Focus Group Schedule

  • We run focus groups year-round. You will be given times/dates to choose from when you fill out the application. We will always try to adapt our schedule to make your participation as easy as possible.
  • We do four consecutive meetings with one cohort of teachers, picking a time/date that works for the participants. If you miss a meeting, we’ll catch you up, but you’ll soon discover that connecting with other educators is one of the best parts of the process.

Bring SteveSongs into Your Classroom

For all of our DonorsChoose project participants, you’ll be creating a virtual class visitor project to bring SteveSongs into your classroom via Zoom. We will coordinate with each teach the time/place for the event. Schools, classes, and teachers will be combined in order to meet the demand. It’s going to be the experience of a lifetime and one you and your students won’t want to miss!

Requirements for Focus Group Participants

In order to participate in this focus group, you must:

  • be an elementary music teacher or an elementary teacher
  • sign our non-disclosure agreement
